Megan MacPhee

Megan is originally from Maplewood, NJ and is an actor and teaching artist. Whether it be on stage or in schools, Megan believes in the power of the arts to uplift others to envision hope and possibility in the world. A member of Actors Equity Association, Megan has performed in regional theatre and national tours, and is a voice-over artist. As a teaching artist she works for the West Side YMCA and other organizations such as Broadway Bound Kids with a residency at The School at Columbia, Riverdale Rising Stars and Grace Theatre Workshop. Megan has taught in after school programs in NYC public schools, choreographed at Universities and High Schools on the East Coast and also volunteers with iMentor in NYC.

Why I am excited about Move This World: I am so excited to have found and be a part of an organization that believes in fostering a more compassionate and vulnerable society to promote tolerance, collaboration, courage and confidence. I believe in an equal and quality education for all – as well as the healing power of the arts. Move This World’s use of creative methods to inspire positive change completely fills and inspires me!
